For 14 years, the Panther Group with its site in Wustermark, Havelland district, has also contributed to the successful development of this region. In the plants of Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik, Panther Print and Panther Display, the number of employees and trainees has continuously kept pace with the economic success. Since 2004, the workforce has doubled and major investments have been made in buildings and machinery of the highest technical standard: This has enabled Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik to expand its leading position as a manufacturer of corrugated packaging and displays. Today, 290 employees work for the company, and as of September 2018, 31 young people are currently pursuing apprenticeships. This is the highest number in years. Thus, the company achieves a training rate of more than 11%. Thus, the site has developed into one of the largest employers in Havelland, offering numerous families secure prospects in the region. Panther Print and Panther Display, the sister plants, are also important employers and training companies, where 50 apprentices are currently pursuing their training. In the entire Panther Group, there are 132 throughout Germany.

Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik offers a wide range of activities in technical and commercial professions to both young trainees and fully trained employees. As a rule, trainees receive offers of permanent employment and subsequently solid career prospects with many career opportunities and promotion prospects. Last but not least, the company offers its employees further development opportunities through dual study programs. The commitment of Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik starts deliberately at an early stage: Through cooperation agreements with local schools, with the offer of various internships to interested students or plant visit opportunities, the company draws attention to itself. The Fritz Landmann Foundation, in which the Panther Group has invested more than 11 million euros in support capital for training and further education over the years,  provides employees in the industry with numerous offers for inter-company training and further education in the wide-ranging fields of corrugated board production and finishing.
