Locations of the Panther Group

The Panther Group consists of several subsidiaries that operate together under the umbrella of the parent company, Panther Packaging. Our locations are at strategically important points in Germany and at the same time close to the border in order to supply customers throughout Europe. The Group is one of the leading suppliers on the packaging market. Panther offers everything from a single source, from corrugated board production and further processing to flexo preprint, offset and digital printing, displays and services such as packaging and logistics. Panther thus maps the entire value chain.

The parent company
The Panther Group has its headquarters in Tornesch (near Hamburg), where the parent company, Panther Packaging, and also the Altonaer Wellpappenfabrik are located. Central departments located at Panther Packaging. The individual subsidiaries, Panther Plants, implement the common goals independently.

The plant in the North
Founded more than a century ago and located in Tornesch since 1961, the Altonaer Wellpappenfabrik is the Panther Group’s original nucleus. It is the company’s most northerly corrugated board plant and supplies northern Germany and Scandinavia.

The plant in the West
Our plant in North Rhine-Westphalia is the westernmost plant. Most customers are in the foodstuffs sector. To the delivery areas count the Netherlands and Belgium.

The factory on the east side
Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik operates at the gates of Berlin. The Panther Group has built one of the corrugated board industry’s most modern production sites in the centre of Europe. Our customers in eastern Germany and eastern Europe receive their goods from here.

The display plant in Wustermark fulfills specific tasks in sales promotion and the presentation of goods. It is where displays and sales promotion materials are manufactured, packed for transport and distributed throughout Europe.

Our ground-breaking company in which the world’s fastest, widest directly driven flexo preprint machine with 8 colours plus varnish and a 2.8 m working width is installed.

The partner company
Coswiger Wellpappe- und Papierverarbeitung and the Panther Group have already worked in a collaborative partnership for decades. The plant is particularly successful in the areas of multipoint gluing, die-cutting and small series.

Südwestkarton is the most southerly location. Products are supplied from Illingen to France, Switzerland and Austria, as well as southern Germany.
