Stylish display presentation of a brand icon

Founded in 1895 in Bohemian České Budĕjovice, the brewery has been state-owned since 1967. Even today, the brewers are proud of the continuation of their traditions: The independent company brews strictly according to the German Purity Law and only uses the permitted ingredients from local production. This is how the original Budweiser Budvar and the alcohol-free brand Budvar Nealko are created.

First of all, last year the display specialists developed a presentation unit for Budweiser Budvar based on a standard display (1/4 Chep pallet). The color design is dominated by the traditional color code for the brand "red". The design of the side walls in the secondary placement is particularly eye-catching: the contour-cut corrugated board parts have the shape of the original bottles of the beer brand. A topper covering a little more than the entire upper width of the display is inserted into the side panels. The printed image not only shows the brand logo but also refers to the special pricing for the beer brand as part of the marketing campaign.

The display has a very good long-distance effect due to the high, contour-punched sides in the shape of a bottle and the faithfully printed image of the beer bottles. Since the jacket is laminated on both sides, the inside also shows the image of the bottle - the display looks very high-quality during the sale and with only half the inventory. The secondary placement is completed by several trays that hold the bottles.

After the successful implementation of this project, another task soon followed for Panther Display: For the alcohol-free brand Budvar Nealko, the customer wanted secondary placement elements based on the same basic concept. For this product, the brewery relies on a contrasting color code to the original: the design for Budvar Nealko relies on two rich shades of blue, which can be found in the bottle labels as well as in the coloring of the displays. In terms of construction, the secondary placement uses the contour-punched bottle-shaped side walls and the topper placed on top. The liter bottles of 0.33, bundled as a pack of 6, can be accommodated on several tray levels.

The campaign for Budvar Nealko was also supplemented with another display with a high base. The aim was to be able to offer a presentation unit for a smaller quantity of products compared to the standard display. The experts from Panther Display had to make sure that the secondary placement did justice to the weight of the bottles. The trays and base construction are designed to present the six-packs stacked on up to three trays on top of each other safely and in a visually flawless manner. Unlike the larger display variant, the topper is placed directly above the back wall. But this display does not do without the iconic bottle shape in the side walls.

The special campaigns carried out last year have also opened up new target groups for the traditional brand from the Czech Republic in Germany and at the same time brought one of the oldest brands closer to the increasing number of connoisseurs of craft lager beer. The successful cooperation between Panther Display and the Bohemian brewery is meanwhile continuing in other projects.
