Shaping your professional future in 2021 - Panther Group offers numerous apprenticeships

At the beginning of the new training year in August/September, further trainees will be welcomed to the Panther works. There you will find a working environment with state-of-the-art, highly automated production facilities. The recyclable packaging, displays and diverse sales promotion materials made of corrugated board are finished at the highest level with processes selected for individual customer needs - flexo preprint, flexo postprint, offset and digital printing. Panther products are used in all conceivable sectors and are tailored to the specific needs of, for example, the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries or manufacturers of a wide variety of non-food products as well as stationary and online retail.

The training spectrum of the wide-ranging Panther Group allows trainees to make perfect use of their knowledge and skills. The prospective (m/f/d) packaging technologists, IT specialists, mechatronics technicians, machine and plant operators, print media technologists or technical product designers and business people - to name just a few of the 16 apprenticeships in total - learn the complexity and performance of paper-based packaging and displays and their diverse uses for consumers, trade and industry.

The corrugated board, which is made from 100% waste paper, is a prime example of the circular economy. After the Panther products have been used, they are recycled and returned to the material cycle. As a responsible company, Panther protects resources preventively and in the long term. For example, transports are planned in such a way that CO2 emissions are as low as possible. In addition, the group of companies purchases CO2-neutral electricity.

Long-term prospects and opportunities for advancement

The Panther Group offers trainees the prospect of a successful start to their careers, which usually leads to a job once they have completed their training. For decades, the promotion of young talent in the plants has formed an important and stable foundation for the company's continued successful development: Motivated and well-trained employees are the prerequisite for quality, flexibility and dynamism at Panther.

That is why Panther is also committed to the further training of all employees. The Fritz Landmann Foundation, which has donated an amount in the double-digit millions since it was founded, coordinates and supports nationwide packaging projects and a state-wide transfer of know-how. Funding is provided to institutions for training and further education in paper-manufacturing and paper-processing professions. The innovative strength of the Panther Group is based, among other things, on these consistent further training measures for the employees, who thus always find answers to the changing requirements of corrugated board and packaging.
