RRK Wellpappenfabrik invests in another Mini-Line - Third inline machine for folding boxes increases delivery capacity

All good things come in (more than) threes: RRK Wellpappenfabrik in Bottrop, Germany, is responding to the continuing increase in demand for high-quality folding boxes by installing another "Mini-Line", thus securing its ability to supply this segment. Individually and attractively finished and printed packaging is finding more and more users who have high requirements in terms of both quantity and quality, which RRK Wellpappenfabrik has been successfully meeting for years with the basic concept of the machine solution.

The already proven configuration of the flexo folder gluer line formed the basis for the new investment. Printing and finishing of these products are mastered by the plant's experts thanks to the know-how acquired over several years of practice. The user-friendly, fully automated press, designed for four-color printing, has the latest technical equipment. This includes a creasing module separate from the die cutting unit and an ejection unit, glue seam control and position monitoring of reinforcing strips. Robot feed, packing robot and camera control complete the automation equipment of the entire line. The four inking units are equipped with dust extraction and infrared drying. All in all, this makes it possible to produce precisely fitting, high-quality folding boxes in just one pass.

Meeting customer requirements with maximum quality is further expanded with this investment. Energy efficiency and resource conservation are features of the plant that are proven time and again in day-to-day operations and fulfill the self-imposed goals of the Panther Group.
