Panther Packaging - Packaging Park/Investment

The Panther Group's Display division in Wustermark in Berlin-Brandenburg continues to expand. After the production areas for the display production and the co-packaging activities were already doubled last year, the available area will be expanded again in 2018. From the beginning of May 2018, the Panther Group will move into a new additional building with an area of approx. 13,000 m² on the neighboring property for the display activities. This means that the Group will have approx. 25,000 m² under one roof at the Wustermark site for display production and packaging alone.

The new building was made necessary by the strong growth in the display sector. This will ensure that all customer requirements for perfect display design, the highest quality standards, JIT service as well as converting and co-packaging can be served.

At the Panther Packaging Park in Wustermark, investments are also being made in the Group's largest corrugated board plant, Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik.

Still in 2017, another inline machine with 4 colors and two folder gluers will be installed. In 2018, the internal logistics will then be reorganized to give a further positive growth boost to the increase in productivity at Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik.

At the flexo preprint company Panther Print GmbH, only newly built in 2011 on a greenfield site also in Wustermark, capacities are already fully booked. The Panther Group is therefore also planning additional capacity in the printing sector.

The unique Panther Packaging park in Wustermark is also to be significantly expanded further in the coming years in order to keep improving the bundled know-how of the resident Panther companies for the benefit of customers.
