Conserving resources - breaking new ground with grass fibers
If widely available grass fibers are added to the recovered paper, the result is a material that is both visually and technically convincing. As tests have shown, it is ideally suited for the production of corrugated board. The surface of the paper has a special character and is reminiscent of a subtle hay shimmer. These properties can be ideally incorporated into ecologically oriented print designs. The papers produced proportionally with grass fibers are already available in various basis weights, which are based on the technological requirements of testliner grades. The Panther Group is closely following the experience currently being gained with these developments and is available to advise interested customers.
