The combination of the professions of industrial mechanic and electronics technician represents the profession of mechatronics technician. In the event of malfunctions in the areas of mechanics, electronics, pneumatics and IT, you as a mechatronics technician are on hand to solve the problems remedy.

Your great interest in electronics and computer science will be in constant demand in this apprenticeship.

As a mechatronics engineer, you will work with electrical and mechanical components as well as with large and complex machines. They set them up, assemble them professionally and program mechatronic systems. You can read circuit and pneumatic diagrams perfectly and thus quickly find the error in the event of a fault. As a mechatronics engineer, it is up to you to decide whether a machine part should be repaired or replaced. The connection of sensors and motors is also part of your area of responsibility.

After the apprenticeship, you can complete the qualification with further training to become an industrial foreman (specializing in mechatronics). A bachelor's degree is also possible afterwards.
