Award-winning product presentations
Many of our developments have been awarded by trade associations or professional societies. The competition criteria are multi-faceted. For example, they do not exclusively involve excellent design, but also include consumer appeal, economic efficiency, innovation, robustness, handling, sustainability etc. A selection of the awards to Panther can be seen here.
The German Packaging Prize and World Star for rustling Tree-Display
The display stands out with its consistent reinforcement of the brand communication in the brand’s colour and form language. The design makes customers aware of the subject area of painting. One particular highlight of the design is the tree protruding from the side, which attracts visual and tactile attention thanks to the design with a paper honeycomb rosette. The naturalness of the tree goes hand-in-hand with the consistent setting of the display as a paper-based single-material solution including the concealed corrugated board pallet as a product carrier.
Innovation Prize corrugated board for Staedtler´s Galaxy-Display
Staedtler’s Back-to-school campaign for 2020 was dedicated to the theme of ‘Distant Galaxies and Planets’. This boldly visualised at the PoS by the secondary placement developed together with Panther Display in the form of a rocket being launched vertically, on its way into space. The incredibly successful consumer promotion item has now received a national award. The corrugated board innovation prize, which is organised every two years by the Verband der Wellpappen-Industrie e.V. (VDW - Corrugated Board Industry Associaton), has just selected the winners for 2020/2021. Panther Display was awarded second place by the jury in the Display category.
The German Packaging Prize 2019 in the "Product presentation" category for the Staedtler Dragon-Display
Panther developed and fabricated a fantasy-sparkling floor-standing display for Staedtler with loving attention paid to the many jagged details. For the start of school this summer, the manufacturer of a multitude of writing and creative goods opened its back-to-school themed campaign with this secondary placement that appeals to young people and adults alike. By its size and design, this Staedtler display in the form of a dragon attracts potential customers from far off, and forms a colourfully likeable framework for crayons and drawing pencils. Prize awarded by the dvi (German Packaging Institute).
World Star for the Bahlsen "Cookies`n Cream"-Display
Panther Display’s secondary placement element for Leibniz biscuits, already the winner of a national prize awarded by the Corrugated Board Industry Association (VDW), was named winner of the World Star 2019 in the Point of Sale category by the jury of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO).
World Star for the Lavazza-Display
During the viscom Düsseldorf 2019 trade fair for particularly attractive, successful secondary placements, the “SUPERSTAR” jury gave the award in silver in the “Display with cardboard, self-promoting, with a footprint >40 x 60 cm” category to Panther Display for the very successful concept for Lavazza Coffee.
Brandenburg apprenticeship prize 2018 for Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik
Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik in Wustermark received another official distinction for its commitment as a training company. As patron of the “Examples of Good Apprenticeships Conditions”, Brandenburg’s Minister President Dr. Dietmar Woidke awarded the honour in the Potsdam State Chancellery. Offered by the Brandenburg Apprenticeship Consensus, this prize honours companies that distinguish themselves by, among other things, outstandingly good quality and continuity in training and innovative training elements.
World Star 2017 for After Eight®
The eye-catching appearance of this secondary placement, a store idea implemented in an imaginative way and with much loving care devoted to many details, raises this point-of-sale element distinctly above the other promotions, and thus also convinced the international jury. The display, designed in the green and gold colours of the famous mint wafers, is brought alive and made interesting by several 3D elements: a shop sign, door and doorstep create the atmosphere of a small, elegant designer shop. Consumers progressively discover ever more new details.
