Create your professional future in 2021 - Panther Group offers numerous apprenticeships

In the summer of 2021, many young persons will once again decide to set the course for a professional career by starting an apprenticeship. In addition to the challenges of finding the individually preferred apprenticeship position for young professionals, the uncertainties caused by the corona pandemic are added this year. Since the outbreak of the virus, the Panther Group has taken the necessary precautions to ensure the health of its employees and the continuation of the entire production process as a system-relevant company in the packaging industry. This also applies to the junior staff already employed by Panther, for whom the family-run company is particularly committed. The comprehensive protective measures introduced at an early stage were the prerequisite for all employees to be able to work in the required hygienic working environment.

At the beginning of the new apprenticeship year in August/September, more stagiaires will be welcomed to the Panther plants. A working environment with the most modern, highly automated production systems awaits them there. The recyclable packaging, displays and various sales promotions made of corrugated board are refined at the highest level with the processes selected for individual customer needs - flexo preprint, flexo postprint, offset and digital printing. Panther products are used in all conceivable industries and are geared towards the specific needs of, for example, the food and beverage as well as the pharmaceutical industry or the retailers of a wide variety of non-food products as well as stationary and online retail.

The wide range of apprenticeship offered by the Panther Group enables stagiaires to use their knowledge and skills perfectly. The prospective (m/f/d) packaging technologists, IT specialists, mechatronics technicians, machine and system operators, media technologists, printing or technical product designers and merchants - to name just a few of altogether 16 apprenticeships - learn the complexity and performance of paper-based packaging and displays and theirs diverse benefits for consumers, trade and industry.

The corrugated board, which is made from 100% recycled paper, is a prime example of the circular economy; after the Panther products have been used, they are recycled and fed back into the material cycle. As a company that acts responsibly, Panther conserves resources preventively and in the long term. For example, transports are planned in such a way that CO2-emissions are as low as possible. In addition, the group of companies uses CO2-neutral electricity.

Long-term prospects and opportunities for advancement

The Panther Group offers stagiaires the prospect of a successful start to their careers, which usually leads to a takeover, when they complete their apprenticeship. For decades, the promotion of young talent in the factories has formed an important and stable foundation for the ongoing successful development of the company: Motivated and well-trained employees are the prerequisite for quality, flexibility and dynamism at Panther.

Therefore, Panther is committed to the further training of all employees. The Fritz Landmann Foundation, which has donated a double-digit million amount since it was founded, coordinates and supports nationwide packaging projects and a nationwide transfer of know-how. Institutions for training and further education in paper manufacturing and processing professions are funded. The innovative strength of the Panther Group is based, among other things, on these consistent further training measures for employees, who repeatedly find answers to the changing demands on corrugated cardboard and packaging.
