Panther for Planet: Promise for generations

With the reduced color design of the new label, it is already visually clearly visualized that climate-friendly design, material reduction and resource-saving production are top priorities in all Panther Plants. As a company that acts responsibly, the Panther Experts for packaging and display production define their own goals with foresight, taking into account possible conflicts of interest between environmentally conscious action and the quality of all products and services. A holistic approach is the prerequisite for this. The new Panther for Planet approach is therefore replacing the Panther pro nature label, which has been in use for many years.

The Panther Group joining the global initiative SBTi, the company has already taken the next step on the way to significantly reducing emissions. The goal is to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees in accordance with the Paris Agreement. The industrial companies united in the initiative commit to halving current emissions by 2030 and to achieving net zero emissions by 2050 (

Supported by a long-term orientation, the Panther Group always strives to make a contribution to the protection and preservation of the environment (soil, air and water) and to specifically minimize its own CO2 footprint. This includes the effects of the products on the CO2 emissions of the entire value chain from raw material production to corrugated board production and processing to delivery to the customer. Along these lines, the Panther Group strives for the reduction and substitution of emission-intensive drivers - while maintaining the same and even increasing the quality of the products. Measures and goals have been defined taking into account the respective circumstances of individual locations. This includes the fact that the entire Panther Group has been using CO2-neutral electricity since 2021, to name just one example. Current comparative figures show that the Panther Group has succeeded in reducing emissions. This is the success of a wide range of measures, from the commissioning of the most modern machines, optimized logistics and the conscious use of energy and materials.
