The jury of experts from business, research, education and the media judges: “The promotional display for accommodating up to four display pallets serves for special placement and stands out clearly from conventional promotional displays due to its eye-catching appearance. The overall appearance as a “Design Store” enhances sales promotion and is supported by two-sided accessibility. The high-quality printing not only conveys the connection to the country of origin and the check pattern typical of British fashion, but also the high-quality product “AFTER EIGHT®”.

The display, which is designed in the trademark colours green and gold of the famous mint tablets, is brought alive and interesting by several 3D elements: shop sign, door and staircase create the ambience of a small but elegant designer shop. Generous access to popular products remains free – the goods can optionally be integrated on 2, 4 or 6 1⁄4 pallets. The handy individual parts for quick and easy assembly facilitate the handling of the display by the field staff.

“We were once again pleased with an extremely strong field of participants in 2016,” reports Dr. Bettina Horenburg, member of the dvi board and overall responsible for the German Packaging Award. “Our expert jury had a challenging job to match the range and overall high quality in the field of participants. In the end, 34 outstanding solutions were won over in the overall review of the respective criteria for each of the 10 competition categories.”
