Convince creativity and originality - Innovation award corrugated board for Staedtler Galaxy display

Staedtler's 2020 back-to-school campaign was dedicated to the topic of "distant galaxies and planets", expressively visualized at the PoS by the secondary placement developed together with Panther Display in the form of a rocket taking off vertically on its way into space. The very successful sales promotion element has now received a national award. The Corrugated Board Innovation Award, organized every two years by the Corrugated Board Industry Association (Verband der Wellpappen-Industrie e.V.), currently selects the 2020/2021 award winners. In the display performance group, the jury awarded Panther Display second place.

The jurors (experts from the consumer goods industry, consulting, research and technology as well as advertising) had to select three winners in four categories for the podium from the variety of clever ideas and sophisticated technical solutions. The extensive catalog of criteria for awarding points included aspects of economic efficiency such as low process costs or rational production, as well as ecological aspects such as recyclability and the substitution of non-paper components. Creativity and originality, print quality as well as attraction and impulse strength at the point of sale also counted for the sales-promoting packaging and displays.

The jury congratulated Panther Display on achieving the excellent placement: “We are very pleased that you achieved second place in the performance group of displays with your contribution “Staedtler ROCKET”. For the jury there was no question that the impressive implementation of the advertising concept would ensure a significant increase in attention at the PoS. We can only agree and congratulate you and your development team very much.”
