Due to the pandemic, the sympathetic stands, die-cut to the exact contours and perfectly implemented in color, symbolized the future of the facility and the families living there, the guests, initiators and supporters. Because a “classic” celebration was not possible due to the applicable rules. The cheering children's figures were the inspiration for the number of guests that the SOS Family Center Dulsberg expects each month. The village with the name "Harbor for Families" was inaugurated with the corrugated board figures and the first families have already moved in.
As ambassadors of hope for children and young people, who will find a sheltered and supportive environment in their new home in the SOS Children's Village, the corrugated board figures, which appear lively, signal the importance of this facility. On the Marco Polo Terraces, the corrugated board children expressing happiness and well-being lined up and announced the opening in conformity with corona. The campaign was a creative substitute for a classic inauguration ceremony and made the first SOS Children's Village in Hamburg known in a different way.
