Displays for the pole position on counters and service counters

The experts from Panther Display GmbH & Co.KG have proven many times how they master the special challenges of counter displays. These should implement an attractive, curiosity-arousing staging of, for example, product innovations or seasonal items in the smallest of spaces. Whether in checkout areas, at service counters or service counters: The focus is always on capturing the consumer's attention and triggering an impulse to buy. The longstanding expertise of Panther Display has already resulted in a number of successful counter displays. The latest example is a second placement for the new game “Cantaloop - Burglary in the prison” by developer Friedemann Findeisen for the customer Spielkartenfabrik Altenburg.

The design idea of a broken brick wall clearly points to the core of this analogue game innovation.

The inventors of the ring binders from the "Point & Click" series of games turned to Panther Display to introduce their innovation. The requirement was to develop a counter display for a total of six ring binders, clearly visible and arranged in two rows with three different heights. And they also relied on the creativity of the display experts to create an optical design that highlights the essential features of the new game. The greatest specialty of the series of games is that it works completely analog and does not require (computer) technology.

The developers speak of a "puzzle fun". The game time is specified as at least 300 minutes and the game is intended for only one person. The ring binders contain various lovingly designed utensils, such as the playing cards, crossbows and game book with ring binding.

The developers of Panther Display let their imagination run wild and designed a visual language for the counter display made of corrugated cardboard, which visualized the title of the game “Burglary in prison”. An openwork, collapsed wall made of bricks symbolizes the game theme and determines the design of the exterior as well as the inside of the back wall. In addition to the visual design, the experts for PoS solutions then came up with other ideas, which resulted in the display ultimately even offering space for eight ring binders. These should stand as upright as possible, which requires a clever trick due to the different geometries of the ring binders (the width varies from 1 cm to 3.5 cm): The books are supported on the narrow side on the right of the display by their own support bars. This ensures that they are positioned upright until they are sold. The equipping, which has been expanded by two additional ring binders, makes optimal use of the space available for the secondary placement.

With this new development, Panther Display was able to bring its many strengths to bear. The prerequisites for a successful product launch of “Cantaloop - Burglary in Jail” couldn't be better. The display, made of corrugated cardboard, is fed into the material cycle of paper recycling after its service life.
