At a new location
New perspectives for Panther Display

With the opening of the new Panther Display plant at the Wustermark site, the family company has invested double-figure millions in the future of the very latest display production. In the immediate vicinity of the corrugated-board production site of the Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik which was commissioned five years ago, the company group is now also pointing the way for Panther Display: The desire of the Panther Group to always be one step ahead of market requirements has been realised with this new factory.

At the Leipziger Straße address in Wustermark/Brandenburg, a new plant equipped with the very latest technology has been created after only six months of construction time; a plant in which the interplay of creative development possibilities, automated production processes and state-of-the-art finishing techniques has been implemented with engineering know-how acquired over many years. Panther Display’s move from its previous location in Großbeeren to Wustermark will be completed in January, 2009. The new building features an architectural concept with the greatest possible openness, in which not only is there space for the modernised machinery, but also the realisation of logistical synergies with the neighbouring works of the Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik. The new plant sets standards in terms of the enhanced quality of products, greater efficiency and an expansion of production possibilities, such as in the area of assembly. The new plant also features the very latest technology, such as a new high-performance laminating machine.

With a performance spectrum ranging from reasonably-priced small runs to large-format litho-lamination and digital printing, the Panther Group also reinforces its development possibilities at the new location – right through to 3D developments – and strengthens overall group expertise in the production of displays and sales-promotion and product-presentation aids. The recognised corrugated-board and standard-display development and manufacturing skills of the neighbouring Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik will be reflected right next door at the new Panther Display plant. The specialists for P.O.S. solutions integrate various additional materials, such as wood, metal, acrylics and other plastics, as well as motors, lights and sound mobiles into their creative display designs. The new business location also features significantly more space, allowing the expansion of development potentials. And in an appropriately spacious showroom, production samples and creative suggestions are presented for the very diverse range of customers, documenting the company’s passion for new P.O.S. solutions.

In the new plant, too, the Panther Group continues to put its faith in training: Panther Display will increase the number of apprentices and thereby provide interesting professional prospects for more young people.

For the longer term, the plant in Wustermark is also suitable for further expansion of both the Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik and Panther Display.
